Full concealer and foundation coverage for light to mild acne.

Growing up with severe hormonal acne throughout 6th grade to 11th, school and socializing with other people has always been hard for me. I wish I knew how to properly apply makeup when I was younger and have a basic foundation regime for my face. I would cake on foundation and concealer that wasn't the correct skin tone and I would have rough patches every where. Things weren't easy for me, I was always self conscious and lacked self esteem. So I'm here to show you my current foundation routine.
This is my face after it has been washed and moisturized. I have a few pimples around my chin area and one under my nose. I was born with dark under eye circles and I have double eye bags. All the other spots that look like pimples are typically scars. My skin scars very easily regardless of whether or not have I touched my acne. My forehead had a few zits popping out. You can tell from my skin it's not the best, and far from perfect. But if I had to compare my acne from my younger years to now, I have to say there is a huge improvement.
This was a picture of me in tenth grade. You can see large acne. I would cry some times because of the pain I got just from washing my face.
On the right side of my face, I primed it with Lancome's Perfecting Makeup Base and Benefit's Porefessional. My enlarged pores looked more minimized afterwards.

I then used Benefit's Boi-ing concealer/color corrector on my blemishes and under eye area. I have really dark under eye circles so I like to use the lighter shade on the left to brighten it up more. For the rest of my blemishes I use the color on the right. You can already see on the right side of my face that it's brighter and has a more clear complexion than the left side. The shades are #01 and #02.
I then use Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow brightening makeup in the color 'Cheers to Me Champagne'. The reason why I'm not using this as an overall foundation is because I bought the travel size to test out and I didn't want to waste it by using it all over my face. Also because the color is a shade darker than I'd like it to be. I use this around my eye area to brighten it a bit more as well ask the area around my nose and the corners of my lips. I focus a lot of the attention of my foundation routine around my eyes, because when you're out having a conversation with someone, their focus is usually towards your eyes, then your lips. Your eyes really are the windows to your soul.
I then apply Lancome's Tient Visionnaire foundation all over my face (right half as an example) to blend out excess concealer and to give the rest of my face full coverage.
I finish off by setting my foundation with Benefit's Hello Flawless powder in  'Me, Vain?' Champagne. I used to never use powder because I believed it would clog up my pores which left me with an oily face throughout the day. Powder is just as important as foundation because it sets your makeup, absorbs excess oil throughout the day and it's pretty much the glue to the entire regime.
So I went on ahead and finished my foundation routine on the other side.

And my makeup. I wasn't going out anywhere so I just contoured a little bit and applied liner to my waterline, tight lined and applied mascara. These products that I have been using are currently my favorite. I feel like the end result gives me a nice dewy glow effect which I absolutely love.
